Albert Hall Jaipur

Lies amidst the fascinating Ram Nivas garden, Albert Hall is an exquisite structure in Jaipur. Designed by a British architect Sir Swinton Jacob, it offers the styles of English and North Indian architecture. The architect was also excel in the construction of several other spots in Rajasthan.

Built in the year 1886 AD, it is now better known as the pride of New Jaipur that was constructed to celebrate the visit of the King Edward VII to Jaipur. The galleries on the ground floor were renovated in the year 1959. This oldest museum of the state is also known as the Central Museum.

Albert Hall is a well-furnished museum that treasures a rich collection of stone and mental sculptures, paintings, carpets, arms & weapons, wood crafts, ivory goods, natural stones and brass wares etc. Tourists can also see an impressive display of crystal works. Just opposite to the Albert Hall, there lies one of the oldest zoos in the nation that harbors various species of animals and birds. Wildlife lovers can visit the zoo to enrich their experience.
