Amber Fort

The sprawling Amber Fort is among the finest examples of the life style of the Rajput kings. It is situated around eleven km from Jaipur. The Amber Fort is among the major tourist attractions. This historical fort is positioned at the bottom of the Cheel ka Teela.

Tourists can reach the Amber fort by taking an elephant ride. It is known as the Amer Fort. Construction of the fort started in 1592 and was initiated by Man Singh I. Later on it was accomplished by his successor Jai Singh.
