An outstanding Mughal pleasure garden in India, Rambagh garden was the contribution of Babur, the first Mughal Emperor. This wonderful specimen of Mughal architecture lies 500 m away from another attraction-Chini ka Rauza and 3 km away from Itmad-ud-daulah tomb.
Its layout follows the Persian style showcasing a design that resembles to paradise. (in Islam the garden is known to be a representation of Paradise).

It is also called as the Bagh-i-Gul Afshan whose charm was enhanced by Noor Jahan, the beloved wife of Emperor Jahangir. She made various alternations to the Rambagh Gardens that have been able to survive till date.
According to the facts, the garden is surrounded with colossal walls with corner towers adorned by pillared pavilions. The garden is distinguished into quarters by stone paved pathways. It has also three levels-one for flowers & vegetables, another one for flower beds along with fine stone-paved terraces and kiosk and the last one houses terraces, structures and tanks.
